At Carson Valley Martial Arts, we believe that martial arts is more than just kicks and punches—it's a powerful tool to build life skills, confidence, and character in every child. That’s why our programs are tailored to meet the developmental needs of each age group, ensuring every student gets exactly what they need to grow into their strongest self.

Let’s break down what makes each age group’s experience unique:


đŸŒ± Tiny Dragons (Ages 3–4): Life Skills & Kindergarten Readiness

Our youngest martial artists are full of energy, curiosity, and imagination. The Tiny Dragons program focuses on:

  • Listening and focus

  • Following directions

  • Balance and coordination

  • Sharing and teamwork

We use martial arts-inspired movements and fun activities to teach important life skills in a structured but playful environment. It’s the perfect prep for preschool and kindergarten—plus, they look adorable in their belt!


🐉 Mighty Warriors (Ages 5–6): Life Skills + Taekwondo Basics

In this age group, kids are ready to begin building real martial arts skills. The Mighty Warriors program introduces:

  • Fundamental Taekwondo techniques

  • Discipline and respect

  • Stranger safety

  • Listening and leadership

This class blends fun with focus. We keep it dynamic and interactive to match their growing attention spans and physical capabilities while helping them build a foundation in both martial arts and character development.


đŸ›Ąïž Youth Program (Ages 7–11): Confidence, Skill, and Self-Defense

This is where the training gets more exciting. The Youth program is designed to help students:

  • Gain real self-defense skills

  • Improve reaction time and coordination

  • Develop confidence in themselves and their abilities

We want every student in this program to leave class not just stronger physically—but also mentally and emotionally prepared to take on the challenges of middle school and life.
